About Clutch Academy
Building character through sport across Dublin and Wicklow.
WHO WE ARE
It's not about winning. It's about getting stronger.
In the realm of sports, it's said that 80% of an athlete's performance hinges on their mental prowess, with just 20% attributed to physical skills. At Clutch Academy, our emphasis is on cultivating character through sports and games. Our participants not only acquire a winning mindset but also prioritize values such as respect and sportsmanship over mere victory. From a young age, our participants learn the essence of teamwork, discover their individual strengths, stay physically active, and foster a positive attitude toward their peers.

What families say
"My son James was absolutely hooked after his first class. He looks forward every week to Tuesday when basketball is on. The coaches are great, and they really promote teamwork between the kids. Even though he didn't know any kids at the academy, the coaches provide such a welcoming atmosphere that he instantly was at ease. Clutch has definitely provided a safe space for friendships, teamwork and confidence."
— Carla & James Kelly, Clutch Academy Family
"I was so happy to see my children playing outside, building sporting and teamwork skills. They came home tired but yet brimming with confidence and enthusiasm. I would recommend Clutch to anyone who wants to give their kids the opportunity to try new sports, participate in team games and have loads of fun."
— Annie Colleran, Clutch Academy Family
"They promote the ideals of togetherness in challenge, as well as achievement on an individual level. They are enjoyable for and accessible to all and have been a wholly excellent addition to the supports we offer our men and women in Dublin South East."
— Robbie O'Raw, St John of Gods Community Services Dublin South East
